Art Impressions Stacker Die and stamps.

The Stacker die takes all the hassle out of making an interactive card that works the first time, every time. You don't have to use the stamps designed for this die but they are really cute. I have done the turtles as you can see.

Two stamps in set.
AI - Slider die
Create the actual slider by using the centre piece that is cut out as a guide and make it a bit bigger so that it doesn't pop out when in action.

Art Impressions Utility die set

This is a very useful Die and stamp set for those of you who are always looking for card and scrapbook products suitable for the men in your family. There are multiple small stamp to convey a personal message to the recipient. You can get this to fit an A6 size card but it does fit better on a DL size card.

House Mouse Ballerina Baby

Isn't she cute?

The words and holly are from the Stampendous 'Joyful Phrases' Perfectly Clear Stamp set SSC1233.
I used the round grid with a Stamp positioner to create the border. The Ballerina Baby HMCV19 is another Stampendous stamp and was coloured with Crayola pencils.

Update on The Perfect Little Cutting Mat.

I have finally used the cutting mat and have now thrown out all others I had. You don't need as much pressure on your craft knife and the blade glides. This should make cutting blades last a lot longer. I am notoriuos for snapping the very tip off my blades. I haven't done that since I have been using this mat. It has inches on one side but metric on the other.

All in all, a very sound endorsement of this tool.

Tools

I an very impressed with the Perfect Paper Crafting products. I can honestly say that unless I am making a one layer card, I use the matting rulers every time I make a card. I thought that having both the scrapbooking size and the card size in my kit was a bit OTT but I went to layer a DL size card and found the mini set wasn't long enough. I don't scrap but I'm glad I have both sets.

I haven't used this cutting mat yet but I will let you know what I think of it when I do.
If I am teaching I can't take my guillotine with me as it is too heavy so I take this ruler. See the orange centre? That is the push bar that has a rubber base underneath it so that your project won't slip. It has a metal side and an acrylic side with centre find feature. The metal side is in inches and the acrylic side is in centimetres which I find handy if I am following an American template.

This intriguing tool allows you to cut a perfect square or rectangle of any size as long as you start with one straight edge. Fantastic if you are using up scraps of cardstock for stamped images to put on your cards.

Watch for the product review in a webisode in store.

New Cottage Cutz in store

Here are three new Cottage Cutz in store and the cards I made with them.

Of course the bear can be made to hang onto anything i.e a heart or tag with sentiment.
We are slowly building up our range of Cottage Cutz dies. If we don't have one in store we may be able to order it from Cottage Cutz if it hasn't been discontinued.
