Fairy New Year!

My Friday class started the New Year  on a strong note with the beautiful fairy cards that I designed using the Enchanted Forest Star Dust die from Crafters Companion.

This first card was designed with the Star Dust Fairy and some Stampendous stamps and dies. The fairy was coloured with pencils and her outfit was Antique Pink embossing powder from Stampendous. The leaves were coloured with Chameleon markers and the background was created with Palette green ink and a soft brush.

The second card was cut out and the design hand drawn. The background was stamped with the same leaf stamps as the first card but coloured with pencils. The sentiment is a Gemini die from Crafters Companion.

 On this third card I used a Martha Stewart punch to get the small flowers and another puch for the tiny butterflies. All three cards have vellum behind their wings.
